Each December, Japanese women, known for their age-defying skin, take to bathing in waters filled with the wondrous and delightful yuzu fruit as is custom during the Winter Solstace. All over Japan, from Tokyo to Shirakawa-go, round citrus fruit and flowers are spilled into the hot, steaming stone and wooden tubs owned by the most beautiful women of Japan.
We loved this idea but what did the Yuzu fruit smell like? Well, the best part of KleanSpa is the research. We found Yuzu to be one of the most unique and addictive scents we've come across yet. At once familiar and wholly unlike anything found in the west, Yuzu is a citrus aroma reminiscent of lemons, limes and mandarin oranges all mixed into one.
But what about our goal to soften, smooth and detoxify?
Even though the yuzu did a fine job on its own, we had to try harder. So we added oils to wash away dryness, crystals to sluff-off unwanted skin, and maybe we dropped in just a touch of our own secret aroma blend to create an even more unique infusion of lime, grapefruit, sugar and almond oil extracts.

I just ran over to my computer in a towel to write you. I couldn't
wait to dry off. Your products are fantastic. I mean it. Whatever
you do, don't tell anyone your recipe for the scrub. Have your
assistant sign something saying she won't give it away! That scrub is
the best! I used it on my face even. It's like nothing else. I
don't know what you did, but it moisturizes you skin so well, and the
scents are beautiful. I tell you it's better than Aveda by far. That's what I've been using - WAS using. I'm going to give all my friends gifts of klean products.
